I like to read the books of others especially concerning finances. Why, might you ask? Because I am retired and I, like everyone else, desires a better life. The historic way of doing such a thing is to invest in yourself and to learn as much as possible. Charles Payne's book walks you through a great number of basics that can help you in the long run, IF you are willing to put in the time to learn. It is always worth it to learn something about finances and taxes, these are the two places where you will find it most productive to study and to save yourself from the heartaches of all your money being taken from you.

One of the best business books I’ve read! This book helped me gain profound insight into the inner workings of the market and how to responsibly manage risk in my investments. Thank you Charles Payne.

Very little value as a whole. Chapters 8 and 9 got a little deeper into fundamental and technical analysis and are worth reading. The remaining chapters felt like it was literally written over a weekend dictation session. Littered with boring truisms and off-the-cuff generic anecdotes. He took the liberty to poop on mutual funds as a category which made me want to fight. Plus zero mention of options trading strategies. There is no way this book improves the 80% failure rate of active traders.

A great book to read and very applicable to current pandemic affect on the Stock market. Gave me a calm perspective on big market down turns such as what we are seeing currently.

I am recently retired, and beginning to fine-tune what my online business portfolio will look like. I was always intrigued by the stock market, because my parents held IBM for their lifetime. Of course, they had no idea as to how the market works and no broker/advisor to direct them. The movies about wall street also piqued my interest, but I knew I'd have to find mentors and advisors to learn how to navigate the shark-invested (lol. I mean: Gordon Gecko infected) waters of trading.
Charles is a great Man. Straight-shooter, and knowledgeable winner. I've read this book a few times, and highlighted it the 2nd time. He is a great teacher, who I love getting email updates from and especially watching speak!
But, I would caution any rookies getting into the market game... I studied wall street and trading for over two year, BEFORE I pulled the trigger on my first trade. It took me that long to vet the TWO trading systems that I implement today. I strongly suggest taking the time to learn this game. That means: watch plenty of trader's videos to vet them. There are trading sites that allow play-money trading, and that's where you should start.
Over time, you'll figure out what your trading-style is, and start making money.
Thanks for the kick-start, Chuck!

A great book told by someone who has the experience to make me listen. Over the years, I saw the author on business television. He always spoke intelligently about what made the market move. When I heard he had written a book, I had to get it. His life of poverty as a child to a television news star and successful investment manager is one we can all learn from. I liked the information he provided in the book. He broke the information down into learnable segments with proper reinforcement. I definitely learned a lot from the book and plan to use it in the future. I enjoyed the book and am sure others will too.

The knowledge and investment strategy insights I just learned have been life altering! I consider myself an avid investor, however this book has introduced many new tools and concepts I didn’t understand before and explained them in a simple and effective manner. I feel much better equipped to be able to make smarter investment decisions as as I use these tools to identify trends, opportunities and warning signs. Special thanks to my brother Thomas H. for introducing me to this gem of a book!

Mr. Payne's book is a great tool for the serious investor. His unstoppable plan is a deep dive into the internals of a company, a regular look at the charts, and the encouragement to not use emotions to pull the trigger. With that said, it is not for the small time investor (like myself) who can only dabble in the market, due to the lack of funds. The plan is time consuming. But overall, the steps he promotes are of value and will help anyone who wants to learn how to examine the markets.

Solid book of fundamentals. A good starter book which is Payne’s intention. Recommended for anyone getting stared in the stock market. I’ve been investing and trading for a few years, but there were many nuggets inside for me to learn, reinforce & highlight. Also, in my opinion, Charles’ show is one of, if not the only T.V. show worth watching in financial media.

This book came highly recommended. It’s the first book I’ve ever read about investing, and it really did teach me a lot. I look forward to using some of the technical indicators and making better decisions.

This book reads like an inspirational business quote on social media. All talk no substance. I have no idea where all the positive reviews are coming from.

A very good book I haven’t ever absorb much of it and I know I will read it again and see how I feel. After that I know of a lot of church and someone and it was hard for me to absorb.

Charles Payne's book is a decent introduction into building wealth via trading stocks and investing. While condensed and not too much complex information it does offer good advice and common sense regarding investing, buying stock and watching the market. This book I think is a good supplement to have around and refer back to when you start investing. Definitely a good book for the Acorn app investing crowd. 3/5 I liked it
