Just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. A few minutes’ more to get to the Pine Avenue shops and restaurants with plenty of noteworthy stops along the way, including Slim’s Place, Ginny’s and Jane E’s, Captain Anthony’s Seafood Market, The White Egret Gift Shop and more. Catch the Free Island Trolley at the stop near the corner of Chilson and Gulf to explore Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach to the south.
Exterior
Tropical landscaping surrounds a perfectly picturesque coastal home situated on a peaceful canal. A large pool patio with loungers, tables, umbrellas, pool basketball, and hot tub offers multiple options to suit any mood. All the beach essentials are provided – just stock the cooler and head to the sand and surf of the Gulf.
Interior
The décor exudes coastal living, from driftwood-style floors and wave-tiled backsplash to woven accent pieces and sea inspired patterns. Large windows take full advantage of the natural light and highlight the view of the canal. Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and over 1500 sq ft of living space gives everyone room to relax.

Make it a multi-family affair! With a new passthrough gate between pool areas, add Salty C Cottage to sleep another eight people.

Per the City Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are to be observed between the hours of 10 pm to 8 am daily. This includes noise at the pool area. Please be especially mindful of loud music and loud voices when in and around pools or outdoor areas. Please refer to the rental agreement for further details and possible citations.

This is the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed in! They have thought of everything to make you feel right at home and make sure you will enjoy every minute of your vacation! Blue Bayou is exceptionally clean, decorated beautifully, the back yard is AMAZING and the location is superb! We were so sad to have vacation come to an end, but we will definitely be back with our family!

This was our second trip to Blue Bayou. This is not much to add from my review last year. We had another incredible vacation at the Blue Bayou. It's simply the best vacation rental we have stayed at. The amenities, the comfort, the pool, the location, and the cleanliness are all top notch. You won't regret your stay.

Blue Bayou is the perfect place to stay! It was so welcoming and beautifully decorated. Great beds and linens which is really important to us in a rental. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in as the owners have thought of everything needed. It was a quick walk to the beach but it was really hard to ever want to leave because of the incredible back yard with pool, hot tub, putting greens, dock and a wonderful hammock…a bit of paradise! Also, the rental company and owners were just great! We would highly recommend renting Blue Bayou…as Linda Ronstadt sang…”I’m going back some day!”

This cottage is everything you want in a trip to Anna Maria Island. We entered into an open spacious kitchen supplied with all amenities needed and even some extras like coffee and numerous seasonings to make cooking easy. The beds were so cozy and the beds very comfy. We needed for nothing. We loved the house but the backyard lagoon was fabulous with a hot tub and so many interesting and inviting sitting areas. The backyard was perfectly manicured..We loved everything about this little slice of heaven.

Blue Bayou is the perfect vacation rental on Anna Maria Island. The house is large, cozy, clean and well equipped. The pool area has so many options including swimming, reading, putt-putt golf and just relaxing. There are plenty of tables and chairs, as well as shade from two umbrellas and the landscaping. This is our second time renting from these homeowners, and we could not ask for more for our beach vacation. We have already booked a 2 week stay next summer! The location is awesome - a short walk to the beach and to many restaurants and stores. The home is equipped with beach chairs, a beach cart, pool floats, and pool toys. Each bedroom has comfortable bedding, a bathroom, and a television. The kitchen is large and well equipped. My family and I highly recommend staying at the Blue Bayou. If you have a large group, you can rent the Salty C next door also. There is a gate in the fence between the two homes. You can't go wrong with either rental.

We stayed at the Blue Bayou and LOVED every aspect of our stay! The house is gorgeous and well equipped, the private pool area is incredible, the beach is within walking distance with white sand and beautiful blue water, the island is a fun quaint place, and the home owner was exceptionally accommodating. What is not to love! We can’t wait to go back!

This cozy little beach house is seriously my favorite place to stay while visiting Anna Maria Island. There was enough room for Al my guests to stay. There are 8 total spaces in beds plus a new comfy couch! The decor is the cutest, beds are very comfortable and it really has everything you need to enjoy a perfect beach stay! I stayed in the master bedroom and waking up to the beautiful back yard with the pool and canal in the background was priceless. I took the best midday nap with my hubby in the shade on the comfiest hammock by the pool. There is a bike in the garage and I was able to use that to get around without my car to grab coffee, breakfast, and explore bean point! Beach equipment is provided as well as plenty of beach towels! You will not regret staying at the Blue Bayou, I didn’t want to leave!

Our stay at the Blue Bayou was absolutely phenomenal. The house is stunning and clean. The outdoor space was great to spend much of our time at, while still being close to the shops and the beach. We loved our little oasis at Anna Maria, and my 4 year old did not want to leave. Great memories made at this amazing home! Cannot wait for more in the future!

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Blue Bayou and already checking the calendar to see when we can plan our return! What a gorgeous home! So clean and comfortable with beautiful furnishings. All of the rooms are spacious with a huge open kitchen/dining/living area. The backyard and pool, WOW! What a fun, relaxing set up. We spent most of our time there. The house is in a perfect spot making it convenient for shops, restaurants, and the beach. Rent the golf cart! It's a great fun way to get around. See ya soon Blue Bayou!
